Rental Equipment Stavanger

!!!NB!!! The rental room has been moved to M13 (Maskinveien 13 in Forus, close to Biltema). The car trailer is located at H15. The rental equipment is stored in room with restricted access. To arrange the pick-up and hand-in of the equipment, please contact via Teams (all in one message works best) Oddvar Siqveland, Harald Wiig, Sjur Fjell, Thomas Gardum or Marita Klepp Bergsagel. Please arrange it in advance, there is no reception in M13. You are expected to show the order and payment confirmation (mobile screen is enough).

Employees who will not return the items in time will be expected to pay for the amount of delayed days. This is to REALLY encourage people to return items according to the booked dates.    

There are limits on rental time in the calendar. Back-to-back rentals for extended periods are not allowed.

It is NOT allowed to drop off the items outside of the rental room. The one who rents has the responsibility to deliver the items to the rental room (explanation 'I could not deliver it within office hours' is not acceptable).

  • You must book your equipment prior to use, and return as booked.
  • Send Teams message / e-mail to all people in the pool of people who can deliver out equipment.
  • Return is between 08.00 and 12.00; pick-up of the equipment is between 12:00 and 16:00. This is to guarantee a smooth handover of equipment delivered by one tenant and picked up by another tenant on the same day.
  • Familiarize yourself with the manual if you do not know how the equipment operates. If there is no manual attached, find it on the internet. 
  • Return the equipment clean and with the parts attached, where possible (e.g. utilities for the pressure washer)
  • Used items (e.g. sand paper pads) need to be repurchased by the one who rents the equipment
  • People who will not obey to these rules will be excluded from the possibility of booking the equipment. 

If a tool is not functioning properly or you have issues with the booking (cancellations etc.), please report it to Bartosz 'Bart' Goledowski.  We do our best to keep the items in the best working condition. 

REMEMBER! Always wear necessary PPE. SAFETY FIRST!
