- Tool-less chain tensioning for easy set up and adjustment
- Automatic bar and chain lubrication system for user convenience and consistent chain lubrication
- Mechanical and electrical chain brake system shuts down the tool during an accidental kickback for added safety
- Robust construction and optimum balanced weight distribution for ease of handling
Make sure there is oil inside the oil container for chain lubrication.
NB! The battery and charger need to be rented separately. This is a high-power-consumption equipment and will drain the batteries fast. If you have a lot of work to do, we advise to rent at least two batteries, preferably the ones with large capacity (e.g. Battery 1 and 2)
Stavanger Tool Club has purchased numerous Ryobi One+ tools which operate with the same 18V One+ batteries. There are different battery capacities and chargers available in the One+ range. As some of those One+ tools come without batteries or chargers and the tools are not used that often (and are never rented all at once), we have decided to split the rental of tools, batteries and chargers. It is only a tad more complicated (and a tad more costly to rent), but it would simply be a waste to have so many batteries and chargers just laying around. They are not cheap either…
If you are planning a small job (like screwing in a couple of screws, drilling some holes, cut a little bit of grass, or changing one set of wheels on your car), one charged battery will be enough, together with a small charger. However, if you plan a large building job, you probably want to scale up ;)
REMEMBER! Always wear necessary PPE. Familiarize yourself with the manual if you do not know how the tool operates. SAFETY FIRST!
