There are now available kayaks in Stavanger which you can rent very cheaply. They are stored at M13 in the “ATC garage” (no access unless agreed in advance)

Please request us if you want to rent the kayaks for more than a week. This have to be booked manually by Helen Bekkeheien +47 98667816

Setup is as follows:

1 Prijon SeaYak 520HV, green

1 Prijon SeaYak 500LV «more stable», yellow

Each is equipped with the following :

1 Aquabound EagleRay kayak - paddle - carbon

1 NRS Vista safetyvest

1 PeakUK nylon splash guard

1 Safety package containing :

-paddle float, for increased rescue

- Water pump

- paddle safety leash ( please consider to use this in bad weather)

1 aqua pack cellular phone waterproof pack ( please do always bring a mobile phone )

1 sponge, to clean the kayak, and remove water from the seat compartment.

For transportation, each kayak have a Thule 874 car kayak holder, universal.

Safety rules:

When using our kayaks, you are required to use at least a safety west and to bring the safety package with you.
Please keep this available at all times whilst on the water.

If you are an inexperienced user, please take the time to get used to the kayak in shallow freshwater.
It could also be very wise to pair up with another kayaker, preferably slightly experienced.
